This Student Educational Visit programme is open to tertiary institutions offering courses related to the food & hospitality industry. All student groups must be registered with the Organiser through the institution.

While FHA-Food & Beverage remains committed in supporting academic institutions in nurturing the next generation of food & hospitality professionals, there are guidelines in place to ensure that the event remains a business-oriented platform.

Student Educational Visit will only be available on 26 April 2024. Students are free to explore the show under the accompaniment of their lecturers at all to all, at a ratio of 1 lecturer : 20 students.

Note: All students have to be at least 18 years of age to enter the show.

Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry should the guidelines not be adhered to.

Terms & Conditions

Due to limited slots, priority consideration shall be given to tertiary university institutions offering courses related to the food and hospitality industry. Each institution will be limited to a maximum of 30 students per event. Different faculties from the same institution will be considered as one institution.

Applications must be submitted through the institution. The Organiser will not accept application by individual students. Students who registered individually and/or schools that registered their students without submitting an application, will be denied entry into the halls and their ticket(s) will be voided.

Individual students or groups who present themselves at the entrance without prior application to the Student Educational Visit programme will not be granted entry to the exhibition halls.

Upon confirmation of application by the Organiser, the total number of students cannot be increased.  A change to the date and time of visit is subject to availability and request must be submitted to the Organiser no later than 20 April 2024.

All accompanying lecturers/staff are to pre-register their visit online for their admission badges.

Students must be at least 18 years old (as at date of visit).

Student passes are valid only on the date of visit.

All students must come in their proper business attire as stipulated by the Organiser’s admission requirement. Should students be in an inappropriate attire, they will not be allowed into the halls.

Students have to be briefed by the institutions on the code of conduct expected at a trade event. They are not allowed to badger exhibitors for any free gifts or samples. The institution will be responsible for its students’ behaviour and conduct during the educational visit.
