Zero Mixology Challenge

The Zero Mixology Challenge will make its debut at FHA-Food & Beverage 2025, taking place from 08 – 09 April 2025 at the Singapore Expo, Singapore. Organised in collaboration with Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, this exciting event highlights innovation and creativity in the non-alcoholic beverage industry. 

The competition aims to inspire a new generation of mixologists by promoting the creation of innovative non-alcoholic drinks, redefining beverage trends, and fostering knowledge sharing across the industry. It also serves as the Asia Selection round, where the top three (03) participants will earn the opportunity to advance to the international finals in Shanghai.

This is an individual competition open to professional mixologists, beverage specialists, and bartenders in training.

  • Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 16 or above, from Singapore or overseas, who is bartender in training or working professionals.
  • Original Drink Recipes must be innovative, creative, and trend-forecasting.
  • One assistant per competitor allowed for setup and cleanup.

There will be a registration fee of SGD 80 per individual.

Competition Structure

Designated Competition

Participants must select one of the following three designated categories during registration:

  • Specialty Milk Tea
  • Creative Coffee
  • Fruit-Based Drinks

In this round, participants will compete within their chosen category, showcasing their expertise and creativity in that specific beverage type. Each category will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis during registration.

Creativity Competition

Creative Drinks

After completing the first round, all participants will move on to the second round, where they will create their own original, innovative, and creative drink. There are no ingredient or concept restrictions in this round, this open category allows participants full creative freedom to present a unique beverage that highlights their skills and individuality. The drink must be an original creation

All participants must participate in a two-part competition over two days.
