Arshad Nuval Othman
Head, Sustainable Finance, Group Islamic Banking
Arshad Nuval Othman is the Head of Sustainable Finance at CIMB Group Islamic Banking and is in charge of accelerating sustainable finance and sustainability practices. He joined CIMB Malaysia in December 2019 as the Islamic Banking specialist for the Regional Financial Institutions Group, and subsequently shifted to Public Sector Group in July 2021 to cover Development Financial Institutions and Special Projects (including Sustainability). Prior to CIMB Malaysia, Arshad worked at HSBC Malaysia and AFFIN Bank as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager with experience in covering local large corporates, multinational corporations and government-linked companies.
